MHA of Greater Dallas advocates for clean, safe, decent boarding homes that promote mental health recovery.

Many people who live with a mental illness reside in boarding homes.  These homes are of varying quality.  We advocate that boarding homes meet the following Model Standards, which were authorized by the Texas Legislature and developed  by the State of Texas Health and Human Services Commission, with the advice of statewide stakeholders and advocates, including Mental Health America of Greater Dallas.
